You Go At It Alone...

Keeping weight loss a secret may seem like a good idea but letting people know may work in your favor and increase your odds of success.

What To Do...

Tell someone, friend, family member, it doesn't matter who, just tell someone. They can provide encouragement and be role models. At the very least they could not act a bad influence. It was found that dieters who had a support system lost 6 percent more weight than those who went at it alone!

You have to be careful though and pick someone who will be supportive. They will give you motivation when you lose, and provide some understanding if you plateau.

You are absolutely correct Cliff! Some people can be destructive to your weight loss efforts!
