My Story

So my story starts back in high school....

I was always a skinny kid, until puberty that is..sorry! In high school I worked really hard to keep my 5'3" frame at 140 pounds. It is so hard for me to remember those days! LOL..long time ago. Everyday I walked to school and I even walked when I had a car. I would work out in my room after school and managed to stay fit.

My senior year in high school my parents decide they were moving to New Hampshire. I got out of high school in January of 1994 and I went to work full time at the job I had all through high school. I got my own place, both of my parents had moved to New Hampshire by March and in May of that year I got pregnant. I did graduate high school in June with my class and no one knew I was pregnant, only me.

I got depressed, my parents were gone, my mom was my best friend and I turned to food. I ate everything in site and blamed it on being pregnant. People seemed to understand that. I quickly went from 140 to 180 and then to 200 and by February of 1995 I was a robust 215. Five days after my 19th birthday, my beautiful 10 pound baby boy was born. That was just the beginning!
The lowest I have been since that point in my life was 180. Food had become a comfort for me. All my friends were gone and I was raising a baby alone. I have fluctuated from 180 all the way up to 240 lbs, being my highest. I am now just about a month shy of my 32nd birthday and have managed to hover around 220 lbs.

It has taken alot for me to write this but I want to be honest with my readers. I have tried every weight loss program there is. What really works is what I did back in high school, eat right and EXERCISE. Will I ever be 140 pounds again? Probably not, will I be at a healthy weight? You betcha.
