I haven't done so well the last couple of weeks with Weight Watcher's. Dieting is a P-I-A sometimes and I always find a way to sabotage myself! So today starts a new week for me. Back to writing it all down and continuing my walking. I must add that I have been very good about making sure I still exercise during my little hiatuses! That may have saved me from gaining a couple of pounds.
This past week has included a few days of not making such good eating choices..(slaps self) We went to dinner at Lenny and Joe's A Fish Tale on Monday, I chose the platter. The yummy assortment of wonderfully fried seafood (slaps self again) consisting of shrimp, scallops, clam strips and fish. Oh yeah, fries and coleslaw too! I didn't eat it all...way to much food. Tuesday and Wednesday, we ate at home. Thursday, well, we went to West Wings Bar and Grill, you see what is in the name right? Wings, yes I had wings (double slap) and beer. I must say they were not the best I have ever had, so I know I will not being going back there.
So now that my week of destruction is over and the slapping has stopped, reality has sunk back in and I am back on track. I must say it sure wasn't worth it...not at all! So I am going to hit up the grocery store and make this a good eating week! I wish there was a miracle pill...(wonders what I can find a GNC to use the GNC coupons I have...probably not much except multi-vitamins)

Do You Golf?
I don't, although I have always wanted to learn.
Golf could be a good way to get some exercise in and have some fun too! The catch, you would have to ditch the golf cart and walk from hole to hole! I know, that sounds scary, maybe because you would also have to tote your golf bag around with you too! Here is a fact for you:
- The walk around an average golf course is 4 miles!
We all know walking is good for you and your heart, so why not give it a try a couple of times a week. If you haven't golfed in a while then dust off the Cobra golf clubs and get outside in the fresh air. Maybe someday we can meet up and play a round of golf!

In Need Of An Energy Boost?
Sitting behind a desk can be grueling, trust me I am one of millions that do it everyday! Some days aren't so bad, others can be torture! So I found a few tips for my fellow desk dwellers or anyone for that matter, who needs to step away from the hustle of the day and get in a little exercise. Let's ditch the electronics just for a few minutes and try one or more of these.
- Hand deliver mail, faxes and memos
- Talk to your coworkers face to face, skip the email or phone
- Have a meeting to hold? Get out of the boardroom and have a walking meeting.
- Do some jumping jacks
- Get some old phonebooks, stacl them up and do step aerobics
- Do push ups at your desk.
- If the phones is glued to your ear, get a cordless and walk around
- Use a bathroom at the other end of the building

Yuck
You ever look in the mirror and really beat yourself up?? I had one of those days yesterday. It had me wondering what the top wrinkle cream was! I know, I am young, but I still see somethings happening that I am not to fond of. Crows feet and all these new crazy lines! Something must be done about it! I have this suspicion that I am not going to age gracefully at all and that my friends, really bugs me! Oh well, it is what it is, I am certainly not going under the knife to fix anything, I don't want to look like that chick on Rock of Love! Big puffy lip and all, no offense to those that do it, but man, it looks like she was punched in the mouth! So I guess I will just have to live with it or fing that magical cream! Any ideas??

To Walk Or Not
So yesterday day a walking/jogging program started at work. Every year my company does this between April and October. They have preset routes to walk and they range from one mile to four miles. The reward for for this, well you get a dollar for every mile you walk and two dollars for every mile jogged. The miles are then turned in for gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods Store. You can earn up to $500.00 for the whole season, so I figure it is a pretty good deal.
I haven't yet decided if I am going to do this or not. People at my jon are so childish, they find a reason to rat you out and really, I don't need it. To bad I couldn't come up with funny t-shirts to wear to show my annoyance to it all!

I'm Back!
We got back from my parents last night, we had some drama to deal with last night so I didn't have a chance to get on. Hope all is well with everyone.
My parents are good, well, for the most part. I found out that they will be putting their house on the market soon. Kinda sucks because this isn't the time to sell a house. I found it odd that my mom wasn't a bit upset about it, apparently the house was purchased for investment property. They had no intentions in living there after they retired which makes it a little better to swallow. Hopefully it will sell and their real estate agent is as good as the ones at Branson real estate.
Well, I am off to go read emails, will be back later!
