Ever consider that maybe your diet is the cause for your pimples?
Those pimples are cause by carb-triggered jumps in insulin. Insulin then boosts the level of hormones that keep the production of skin oil in check. It will also trigger keratin growth, possibly blocking follicles. The long and short of it all, that is how a zit is formed.
So eat more lean meats, seafood, veggies and whole grains. I know easier said than done!

Lower Your Sodium Intake
As we all know, to much sodium is not good for us. It can cause your body to retain fluids and that can be harmful to people with high blood pressure and heart disease. If you have liver or kidney disease, your included. The average American consumes 2,500-5,000 mgs of sodium a day!! Glad I am not the average American! 1,100-3,300 mgs of sodium is what you really need.
Here are tips for lowering your sodium.
- LAY OFF THE SALT
- Look for low sodium or no salt added
- go with fresh veggies when possible or frozen
- don't eat so many pre-packaged meals
- use more spices, pepper, garlic powder or onion
- look at food labels, sodium content changes amongst brands
- condiments are sodium filled as well, use them sparingly

Healthy Eating On A Budget
Trust me I know all to well how hard it is to eat the right food when you are on a budget. The healthy food always seems to more expensive, then say snack foods. If you look at all the "great" sales at the grocery store it is always buy 1 get 1 on chips, cookies..etc. What about buy 1 get 1 fruits or veggies? Always look at the sale fliers and plan!
Here are some tips on eating healthy when you have a budget to stick to:
When cooking a big meal, make extra to freeze.
Use less expensive cuts of meat for casseroles that you slow cook; add extra vegetables and beans to make the meal go further.
Look high and low to find the less expensive generic or store brands on grocery shelves.
Take advantage of specials on broth, soups, pasta, rice, canned veggies, even bread and meat.
You can freeze perishable items (such as meat, milk, and even bread) in smaller portions to use as needed. So stock up if you find a great sale.

A Reason NOT To Go To A Strip Club
I am sure there are a million and one reasons why not to go to a strip club. I personally don't care if my husband goes.
Now I may have changed my mind, even though the chances of this happening again are slim to none.
Several people, around 40, contracted Tuberculosis form a stripper in St. Maarten. Geez, go on vacation and come home with a potentially deadly disease! The stripper was from the Dominican Republic. Boy, I am sure glad they sent her back!
They think they have found everyone who was around her and I am shocked that only 40 people tested positive. Lots of vacationers in St. Maarten, I can't imagine that they found everyone!!

Another Loss
Weight Loss is moving along well. I lost another 3.6 pounds this week for a total of 14. Not to shabby if you ask me. I guess it is all about being focused and staying motivated. That is really all I can do. I look at it as, if there is a small gain one week it is ok, although my ultimae goal is to lose every week. So far, that has happened.

I can't Wait for Tonight
So tonight the Biggest Loser is on and I am so excited. I have watched this show since it first came on. I love to watch the contestants change from week to week. So with 3 people gone and more to go I can’t wait to see what will happen on tonight’s show
I don’t have any favorites yet, usually I have at least one but I try to route for them all. They have overcome great obstacles and they all deserve the support. This year there seem to me a few more whiners on the show, so it makes it a little harder to decide.
