In Need Of An Energy Boost?

Sitting behind a desk can be grueling, trust me I am one of millions that do it everyday! Some days aren't so bad, others can be torture! So I found a few tips for my fellow desk dwellers or anyone for that matter, who needs to step away from the hustle of the day and get in a little exercise. Let's ditch the electronics just for a few minutes and try one or more of these.

  • Hand deliver mail, faxes and memos
  • Talk to your coworkers face to face, skip the email or phone
  • Have a meeting to hold? Get out of the boardroom and have a walking meeting.
  • Do some jumping jacks
  • Get some old phonebooks, stacl them up and do step aerobics
  • Do push ups at your desk.
  • If the phones is glued to your ear, get a cordless and walk around
  • Use a bathroom at the other end of the building
